My title is kind of a joke.
Anyway - according to NBC News/McClatchey, the following has occurred over the last two weeks:
Hillary's brand has deteriorated drastically while Obama has remained fairly steady in the face of his worst press of the cycle (the Wright flap).
Here's the data:
For my own general amusement, I'm compiling a list of right-wing sources used to attack Barack Obama by Democrats. I'm certainly not violating the site guidelines or trying to call out other diarists. I love you, other diarists! I'm just laying out some amusing facts for you folks. The following sources were used as unbiased authorities on Obama. They were used with no apparent sense of irony:
New Hampshire and Iowa broke the rules too!!! Their votes do not deserve to count!!!
Throw out those results! Obama netted 13 delegates from Iowa and 0 delegates from New Hampshire. After we throw out those states, the delegate count is the following:
Obama 1383
Hillary 1239
Obama + 144
And the total delegate count is:
Obama 1597
Hillary 1489
Obama + 108
The Clinton campaign stated today that Hillary "misspoke" about facing sniper fire and running for her life on an airstrip. Apparently, Hillary's memories of the actual events of the day were lost in the fog of war.
She faced danger quite often as a first lady. Bill often dispatched her as his own personal Rambo.
Obviously, the recommended diaries on MyDD tend to slant Clinton. This adds to the diversity of opinions on the internet and in our party.
But I'm actually wondering how the MyDD readership as a whole (not just the people who write diaries every day) support in the presidential race. I think it might be surprising.
The last MyDD user poll had a surprise result (Obama won). I'd like to take one again.
